Skyhawks Hire Emma True as Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach
WEST POINT, Ga. – Point University Women's Soccer Head Coach Randy Douglas has announced the hiring of Emma True as the program's assistant coach for the 2026-27 season.
"Emma has a strong background as a player from our former Appalachian Athletic Conference member, Milligan University," said Douglas. "Her strong desire to coach after graduation led her to the Chicago Eagles, where she has gained invaluable experience leading training sessions and mentoring players."
True brings four years of collegiate playing experience to West Point, having served as a defender for the Milligan Buffaloes from 2021-24. She appeared in 63 matches, making 33 starts. At the college level, she recorded two goals and four assists.
True will make her Skyhawks coaching debut on August 27th, when Point plays their season opener at home against Columbia University International. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm EDT at River Bowl Stadium.
