Kenton Steele Receives SSAC Men’s Basketball All-Scholar Team Honors

WEST POINT, Ga. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced that Point Skyhawks graduate forward Kenton Steele (Hamilton, Ala.) has been named to its 2026 Men's Basketball All-Scholar Team. Scholar-Athletes of the Year are required to have a 3.5+ GPA and be an upperclassman.

Steele was named SSAC Offensive Player of the Week in Weeks 7 and 14, which led to his selection as a First-Team All-Conference honoree. Kenton played in all 25 games during the 2025–26 season, shooting 167-for-334 (50%) from the field and 137-for-184 (74.5%) from the free-throw line while collecting 211 rebounds and scoring 493 points. Defensively, he added 43 steals and 11 blocks for the Skyhawks.
